Somar Digital, a leading NZ owned digital agency, announced today they have been appointed to the new All-of-Government Web Services Panel effective from May 9th, 2017.

The appointment makes Somar an approved supplier to all government departments across a wide range of ICT disciplines including front and back-end development, design, information architecture and ongoing support.

We’re delighted to be on the new Web Services Panel. This reflects a lot of hard work by the whole Somar team as we’ve built our capability and portfolio.

-Aaron Scott, CEO and Founder of Somar Digital

The Web Services Panel (WSP) was re-established in May 2017 to provide a range of professional services for agencies’ web site development. The WSP can be engaged quickly and without primary procurement processes, allowing agencies to save time and money.

Somar was founded in 2008 to offer world-class digital solutions to clients. Their team is based in central Wellington, and in 2015 was appointed as the world’s first Silverstripe Professional Partner. Embracing the home-grown open-source CMS has helped Somar notch some big wins on high-profile projects. Somar Digital provides services that include: web design, web development, and website hosting & support.

“We’ve developed a world-class public transport solution that over 20,000 Wellingtonians use daily with, raised critical donations for the Cancer Society NZ, and empowered Kiwis to push themselves to another level with Outward Bound,” Scott says. “We can’t wait to help NZ Government agencies achieve their goals through great user experience design and state of the art Silverstripe web development.”
