As such, we are looking for a very special person to join our team as a SEO/SEM Specialist.

We’re seeking a well-rounded SEO/SEM Specialist to join our growing, hard-working Wellington team to deliver award-winning web development services.

First and foremost, you're a good person, with a high care factor both professionally and personally.
The SEO/SEM Specialist needs to deliver stellar SEO and pay per click solutions to our clients that exceed expectations on technical and creative front by keeping abreast of changing trends in digital advertising consumption, strategy and execution of campaigns.

The role will champion the strategic importance of search engine optimisation both internally and externally.

Ideally coming from a fast-paced Agency background, you’ll have a great work ethic with very much a ‘can do – wanna do’ attitude, with the ability to roll your sleeves up and get things done, to a high standard. Whilst we strongly support a work-life balance, we also want people who are willing to go above and beyond when required.

You are able to think on your feet and find creative solutions. You’ll be accurate and driven but at the same time flexible and nimble. You show genuine care for the welfare of others, especially our clients and their customers.

We’re looking for that special someone with a passion for new technology; someone who has a willingness to delight our customers with their expertise, creativity and communication skills.

Role Requirements:

  • You are self-managing/directing
  • You're a natural leader and positive influencer of people
  • You must be adept at managing multiple projects at the same time
  • You must be comfortable and confident about hitting revenue targets and goals

SEO

  • Ability to conduct SEO audits on the website
  • Devise SEO strategies and experiments
  • Provide internal SEO reports on a regular basis
  • Execute new and creative collaborations among SEO technologies and platforms
  • Help a brand to become a leader in SERP
  • Adjust the site to the requirements of search engines
  • Collect keywords for semantic core, categorise and sort them via SEO tools
  • Set up website analytics and work on data based campaign decisions
  • Optimise the web resource collectively with editors, marketers, designers, and developers

SEM

  • Identify trends and insights in digital marketing and with wider marketing implications
  • Allocate marketing investments to campaigns
  • Plan, direct and execute campaigns
  • Manage clients PPC campaign and maintain it, keeping best practices in mind
  • Optimise content for the website, keywords, landing pages, ads and social media platforms
  • Work with various content formats such as blogs, videos, audio podcasts, etc.
  • Track the website traffic flow and deep understanding of Analytics
  • Implement and analyse performance metrics
  • Measure and assess goals vis-à-vis ROI
