Onslow College approached Somar to redevelop their online presence into something much more accessible and modern.
Somar worked with the Onslow College team to create a website that delivers a powerful online destination for current students, the international community and parents.
Armageddon Expo

Built from the ground-up, the Armageddon Expo website is the destination for anybody interested in attending this international event.
The website was built with the capacity to deliver multiple versions of the website for different countries, and easily update the content for each event.

Wellington Photographic Supplies required a much more dynamic website than they previously had. This meant we developed a website where they could easily update all facets of the website, including posting blog entries as well as managing a complete online ordering system.
Exodus Health & Fitness Club

Exodus Health and Fitness Club is the most advanced gym in Wellington. Exodus felt their launch website was getting a bit tired and came to Somar to give them a new facelift for the future. We deployed our SOMAR CMS to manage their content and cover their needs.
Perkjobs

The perkjobs.co.nz website required a simple and scaled back design, while staying accessible to visitors. The key aim was to make it easy to browse for available jobs and services, along with being able to post your own job listing to look for work or employees - all without having to log in or create an account.
Life Pharmacy Careers

Life Pharmacy is an innovative health and beauty multi-brand retailer at the forefront of the retail experience for customers. Somar was able to build and integrate a full content management system, including job recruitment system.
Department of Labour > Careers
Somar, with the help of Adcorp, developed the new Department of Labour careers website. The site iis integrated with the current DoL site to allow visitors to seek further information about peoples' roles within the department.
Paragon Fires

A simple, yet elegant website, Paragon Fires features basic page templates to convey key information, but also includes advanced 'product' management through the Content Management System to display the services and fireplaces Paragon Fires offers.
Medix 21

As a leader in supplying rehabilitation equipment to various NZ outlets, the Medix21 website had to be easy to use and accessible. It has a full product management system that can, and has, been easily changed to continue to refine and further develop features within the website.
Auto Smash Repairs

Auto Smash Repairs have been round producing great work for donkeys years. They were looking to get an online presence and came to Somar to provide this for them. They have a great looking, easy to manage website for potential clients to read and view more about their services.
Cognito

Cognito offered a unique chance to do something vastly different. Somar was able to produce a website that is simple, yet effective at displaying both core information, as well as the work Cognito has done for it's clients.
Creative Hospitality

Based at Massey Wellington's Campus, Creative Hositality has been set up by the Student Services Trust (SST) for the benefit of the Wellington Campus students. We create the design and developed the site, it includes a client login system, customised ordering system for online ordering, CMS and a email newsletter template.
PlaySport

PlaySport.co.nz is an exciting new website for like minded sporting enthusiasts. The website features the ability to send regular newsletters and event alerts tailored towards the user's interests. The users are also able to notify friends of events, and chat in the forums, making PlaySport a vibrant online destination.
Youth Week

Youth Week is about celebrating young people for who they really are. The website can be fully updated via an extensive Content Management System. The user has a high level of interaction with the website, from entering competitions, forum discussions and polls.
PAK'nSAVE Kilbirnie

The Kilbirnie branch of the nationwide shopping chain PAK'nSAVE approached Somar to reinvent their web presence. The new site focuses on the importance of sustainability and geared towards supporting the greater Wellington community.

The Car Stereo Company has over 20 years experience and are able to offer the largest range of Car Audio & Security brands in the Wellington. Website work includes full redesign, development and online payment facilities.
NZPARS
The PARS website was a complete redesign and build from scratch. The website focuses on being able to easily navigate the website. A custom backend allows the client to easily update and maintain the website.

NZGamer.com is NZ's leading independent gaming site. Established in 2003, the site recently went through a major relaunch in July '08. Somar has been able to offer time and resources to getting a multitude of features and functionality up and running on NZGamer.com
Tearaway Online
Tearaway Press LTD has been in the publishing business for over 20 years, Somar provided them the development solution to future proof their brand requirements.Tearaway Online required work to be done with an existing site powered with eZpublish. This work included doing work on the CSS, templates, and site architecture.
Upstart Magazine
Upstart Magazine was a completely new website, targeted towards kids, to be built of the existing architecture that was put in place on Tearaway.co.nz. Work completed included complete design of the UpstartMAG website, and template creation, including extensive work with HTML, CSS and eZpublish.
